The estate
The
harmony of a vineyard spreading majestically along the serene river
Garonne, the tame Dordogne, and the Gironde region with its sea breezes,
the alliance of soil, climate, and wine growers, the research, patience,
tradition and talent all combine to bring the elegance of a truly unique
wine (red, white dry or mild).
South of this vineyard, over a very small area, a special micro-climate creates an exceptional place where, in the secret art of grape harvesting, the great sweet wines are the pride of a country of tradition.
In a total area of 232 acres where the Sainte-Croix-du-Mont occupies some 64 acres, high quality red wine has a well deserved place with 17 acres of Graves, 22 acres of Bordeaux, and some 116 acres of Bordeaux Supérieur.
5 acres of Bordeaux Blancs Secs (Dry White) and Moelleux (Sweet), 5 acres of dry white Graves, and 2.5 acres of Sauternes contribute to diversify the varieties.

You are in SAINTE-CROIX-DU-MONT. The Graves and the Premières Côtes de Bordeax areas nearby are also particularly noteworthy. |
